I have a different problem though. One of the foot switches of my MWBD Pedal seems to be broken. Feels and sounds just like any of the other foot switches, but the LED won't light up and the effect does'nt trigger, on both preset sets (in this case it's 1 and 4, the left button). Is there anything i can do, or do i have to send it in to repair?

So I have my new BEF Pro and hot hand. I am overwhelmed with all of the settings and possibilities.

One thing I'm confused on is the LFO Wave Shapes and how to get that desired sound... I tried watching Will Cady's video and he demonstrated square and triangle wave shapes... How does one determine what waveshape he/she has? I put my settings exactly how he showed them and it sounded nothing like what he had.


Any help would be great!

You have to go to the backpage settings... far-right bar controls the shape. Sorry, don't have the unit in front of me for the bar's name.

Ok I figuree out how to get to the backpage settings.. and I was able to mess with the waveshape a bit...

I just don't have an instruction manual to tell me what all the EQs are for.

Right, newbie here, been searching around for information but I've got some questions anyway (sorry!).

From what I've read, if I get the Hot Hand and the BEF Pro I can do the basic wobble and any LFO modulation effects. However, in order to get a sound similar to the "complextro" sound done by a lot of the artists I listen to at the moment (Zomboy, Document One, Borgore etc... mainly brostep, again sorry! =P) I've read that getting a pitch shifter (like the boss ps-5) for the large dives and a ring modulator (for the talking bass) would be very beneficial too.

I've also read that the Hot Hand 3 can control something like the Boss PS-5 instead of needing to get a MIDI-EXP controller too.

So my question basically is, is what I've read true and if not can you recommend anything to fit my criteria? Thanks in advance to anyone helping, can't wait to start making some wobbles.

I'm loving my BEF Pro + HH... Added my DS-1 distortion to it and got some pretty decent sounding wobbles going. I probably need a synth or reverb added to it to make it sound even better. but It'll do. I might be able to do some stuff in Garage band and make it sound better recorded.

Still so much to learn about the bef pro though.

Let me know if you need any help on replicating any specific tones you hear in my videos...Some of the sounds need specific backpage adjustments that would have taken up the whole screen if we included all of them!

The HH3 is capable of serving as an expression controller with any pedal that has an expression input. Officially we say 'most', because we haven't tried it with every pedal in existence but we are yet to run into any issues! We've used it with a few pitch shifters including Boss and it it works very well.
