That is how mine came. Also includes the ring but I guess that might be obvious. Also comes with the power adapter to power the HH3 unit and charge the ring.

interesting, I've asked what cables came with the expression pedal and it comes with a HH and TRS cable.

The Hot Hand 3 ships with the following:

Hot Hand 3 axis ring
Hot Hand receiver base
1/8th inch sensor cable
power supply

It does not ship with a 1/4 inch TRS.

Maybe something a retailer added? Or did Source Audio say that. Because mine didn't come with the TRS cable. I didn't see where it said they do. I think their website says it just comes with the sensor cable. Interesting indeed. That would be a nice addition.

I get why they don't included it. You never get cables like that with pedals, and the HH cable is something special you can't get at GC. The TRS cable would never be the right length or have the right ends (right angle), but the SA Dual Expression pedal does list "Includes one 1/4-inch TRS connector cable and one 1/8 inch four conductor Sensor Output cable", so there are some inconsistancies to be aware of.

Oh, and if anyone has a good source for a TRS cable with right angle ends on boths ends, please let me know.

This is why I hate dealing with Guitar Center and do everything I can to avoid them.

GC: PRS guitars can use any instrument cables.
Me: No, TRS, T as in Tom.
GC: I'm sorry, I don't know what a BRS cable is.

try asking for the live sound department, but stilll.... I had the same experience ging in for an expression pedal. I didn't think it was that complicated, but I guess Line 6 threw a curve ball with their setup. It's so awesome that SA put the dip switches in the HH3 to allow for flexibilty.

GC and guitar stores in general are the worst places to go for cables. Look for a live sound or performance audio store local to you. They will have or be able to build whatever cables you need.

This pedal is awesome... I get so many more sounds out of my BEF because of the MWBD. Sounds amazing. and I've only messed with the effects knob! Can't wait to dig into this pedal and learn it. Wobbles are epic!
