Southampton Boost!!

Guys, if you are looking for a small boost, with some depth and some sparkle to it to push a tube or push you over the top for a solo or bridge this it.

I use 3 boosts, this one, a dg harmonic booster (which is impossible to find these days) and the 3 leaf lbb.

The lbb is clean, smooth and awesome, a very transparent boost.

The dg hb is discontinued, but has tons of volume, a 2 band eq, switches for tone and is probably going to stay on my board forever.

The fifth gear, is a simple, one knob, volume and presence boost with grit on board if you so choose. Its great at adding that omppph you need, or just a touch or od to stand out in the mix.

For the price, its hard to beat, and at 50% more its still a steal. My EP booster lasting 2 minutes after testing the fifth gear.

Sorry the EP didn't work out for you duke. But I now see why. Im finding this little pedal is pretty amazing the more I use it. It got a lot of play time this weekend.

No worries Greg, I sent it to you because A, I knew you'd be honest, and B you'd give it a good run. And with all the pedals you have/had people will trust your opinion.

You should get some credit, lol. Everyone should give one of these a test run, its a great investment, takes up very little space.

Here's your credit, lol. I'll ask Hamish to ship you the imposter for beta testing... sound good? You and I can beta test together.

Thanks duke! That means a lot coming from you. I respect this community a lot and it and a handful of guys have given so much so any time I can give back even a little I gotta.

Sounds great to me about fuzz! I can't wait to get that thing on my board. It'll be tested proper especially considering the fuzz kick I've been on the last couple months.

Just got my Fifth Gear, really nice little boost. It's very usable throughout the gain range. It's jut subtle enough to add a little something. I really like it so far. It will go on one of the two boards.

I have found that for me and my setup is has a sweet spot. It sounds good throughout the turn of the dial. But for me, right around 11 o'clock is where it's at. Keeps my low end pumpin and just plops me right where I want to be when I boost.
