Space taxi!...crew Dragon Starliner rescue mission return!!

Yeah, the Starship portion did a controlled "soft landing" on the water, at which point they had no control, it went down straight into the water, we saw a couple of frames underwater, vertical, before it bobbed back up to the surface - structural integrity gone, fuel tanks leaking, hot sparks still flying, things go <BOOM>, as expected.Oh my, that was like watching a movie. I could hardly believe my eyes when the rocket came back and landed in that launch tower.
Why did the other part of it explode after it landed? I think it was in the water.

Expected? Why didn't they land it somewhere like the other piece?Yeah, the Starship portion did a controlled "soft landing" on the water, at which point they had no control, it went down straight into the water, we saw a couple of frames underwater, vertical, before it bobbed back up to the surface - structural integrity gone, fuel tanks leaking, hot sparks still flying, things go <BOOM>, as expected.
They're practicing soft landings on the water, no recovery, before they try landing on a barge or a landing pad. Same sequence as they went through first landing Falcon 9 boosters, actually.Expected? Why didn't they land it somewhere like the other piece?
Thank you for that explanation. I was having a hard time making out what was going on in the video.
