The Aercibo collapse was caught not only on a camera mounted on one of the buildings, but by an inspection drone that happened to be looking right at the cable that gave way:
I wonder how much of the observatory's instruments they retrieved before thinking better of the exercise. First they were saying the loss of one cable wasn't too bad, carry on boys and girls, then something else let go and they were dragging out the gear, then it fell down.
A journey six years in the making. Hayabusa successfully returned home with some cool stuff from an asteroid.

I’m surprised that there is nothing stabilizing that thing. If a wind came up it would blow over, methinks.
I think it has a clamp system on the bottom skirt.
