SpaceX and other space stuff

I didn't expect the bellyflop maneuver to be as smooth and stable as it was, though I did expect it to go upright again very quickly once the Raptors reignited. Looked like one of them choked a bit, though, the green flame is the re-igniter going all out trying to get it going again. Just landed a wee bit hard!

I agree, that one engine was trying to light. I wonder if it would have landed without the big boom had the engine ignited properly or was it intended to crash land?

I'm certain they would rather it have landed in one piece, but make no mistake, this was a very successful test flight! That wasn't just a "hop" - it actually aerodynamically flew stably as it descended. So kewl. :cool:
