Very interesting but it’s not clear to me how a small satellite like that is going to maneuver a likely much larger piece of space junk. Is the plan to somehow put it into a controlled re-entry? Is that little thing going to give the junk a push and then let go?[This invalid link has been removed]

and the requisite looking up from scope to sky, then back to the scope again. Jupiter also put on a good show, with the four Galilean moons lined up alongside. We even got a "bonus planet," as Mars was basically right overhead. Dad also asked to look at the Moon, so I dialed in some nicely detailed views of the craters along the terminator shadow. Everyone had a great time, and I took the opportunity to underscore to my nice that the experience was entirely analog: No internet required, nothing to plug in; Just a couple of lenses in a tube, and looking up at the sky that's right there, all the time. Showing my age here, but for some reason, whenever I see one of the hops, or Starship test launches, I'm reminded of this short lived show from my childhood :

I don't remember this one either but I'll probably try to check it out.
It's apparently due to a new study/survey of even more recent, higher-resolution photos than were previously available, with the craters being spotted and counted by an AI program.Extremely interesting. But I'm confused. Don't we have tons of detailed imaging of every inch of the moon? Why are we discovering craters?
