Yeah, it wasn't quite the film I expected it to be, but I still enjoyed it, and am thrilled to have Richard Stanley back where he belongs.
If you haven't seen it, check out the documentary "Lost Soul", about the hellish journey he had trying to work within the Hollywood studio system.
Where he went after that documentary, is the makings of an even more insane story.
I made a start on the 2012 version of "The Colour Out Of Space", but gave up early on - I may give it another go, but it's clearly been made with poorly dubbed European actors, and shot entirely on green screen.
Yeah, we got it based on the decent reviews we saw on a couple of sites, and the fun of watching Nic Cage... be Nic Cage.
