Special Edition build off - Second

So, rotating the magnet adjusts the output? The wheel on the bass string side rotates it? Is the whole mechanism hidden under the pickguard? Will the wheel stay there? I'd think you'd want it on the treble string side so you dont hit it accidentally.

Actually I'm not sure how or if I will use a pickguard, mainly trying to make this build more functional than pretty.
You might be right on the position of the wheel .

So curious to hear how this pickup sounds. If it's cool are you gonna go back and tweak the aesthetics?
I almost was going to leave it bare wood ,
I Plan on dying it black with leather dye and finish it with tru oil

The transformer is 1:20 custom built with nickel core and pickup has 400ish turns
Supper low out put , hopefully it balances out ?
The idea , hopefully yields a near perfect parallax winding.
Basically the outside side wrap is the same length as the inside wrap limiting
Any issues with phase , push that through a nice transformer for a 3 dimensional sound.
We shall see or in this case hear...

I've wanted to use this thumb rest "Momentary off/on" button for a while now.
I'm not sure how to use it in the circuit for the drum triggers.
Only a couple options ?
Have it hooked to both grounds and have to push the switch, all the while using the triggers?
Not digging this idea.

Use it to trigger the snare and kick at the same time on the snare trigger ?
Also not digging this Idea, but likeing it just a little more that the last idea.
Only so many things you can do with a " Momentary off/on"
Wish it was a "Momentary on/off"
