Is it me or do these orange cabs look EXACTLY like a TL606? Hmm..

So, I received the cabs. Humbucker Music did an amazing job packing these things.

I purchased them because my NV610 doesn't fit in my car and I have freelance gigs where I have to provide my own transportation. They fit in the car well, so I am extremely pleased about that...being that was the goal of the purchase.

I will post a review in a week or so until I get to really put them through the ringer. Point of this post is pictures..err picture:

I tried my GK 1001RB-II and it didn't seem to be the best match - it made the mids sound rather bland. I am not sure why I couldn't EQ a decent sound, but for my tastes it just didn't work.

I am going to append this section of the review. I just had an early outdoor gig where the mains voltage was 95 VAC and my SVT-CL fired up, but kept cutting out...so I had to go to the 1001RB-II (my backup head), which performed just fine. Anyway, it sounded pretty good - didn't have the grunt of the Ampeg head, but the tone was very focused and full. I wouldn't think twice about using the GK head with these cabs again.

They are very good.

I like there quick responce, tight, full.

A pair of these and the Orange 200 tube head, would kill.

Nice purchase! I have the Orange 15" and I love it to death - I'll probably never sell it. I pair it up with my SWR 2x10 cab and either my SWR 350x head or my V4-B. Sounds really great, yet distinguishable with either head. Defintiely the cleanest 15" I've ever played.

You should just scrape up the dough and pick up one for yourself, the great thing about these cabs is, they'll hold a lot of value if you ever get in a jam and need to sell it.
