Serious question: is this Forte going to make me not want to play my Euro's anymore?

If so, I might as well just order two LOL.

IMHO the Forte is better then the Euros.

But I my case I purchased a 2nd Euro after I got my Forte so I think you will be still playing the Euros. ;) :bassist:

Nah, you will still love your Euro's. I played Limaguy's Forte and it really is a beautiful bass but I have no urge to scrap my 2 Euro's and buy only USA Spector's. I do plan on buying one USA Spector in the next month or two though since I really loved the build quality on them.

You will definitely see the higher build quality on the bass though and how much extra work goes into it when making it. Plus, Limaguy bought another Euro after buying the Forte so if he was able to do that, I think you will be fine with your Euro's :) I think he owned like 9 Spector's at once so he definitely had an addiction, LOL.

My first Spector was the Forte-4, my next is an NS-2, then I'll be looking into a Euro to complete the circle. Each one has something unique to offer.

Im sure everyone will love to get their hands on this new addtion in the Guitarcenter used section.

has anyone used SWR cabs with their Spector? There is an obvious love for Ampeg.... and I would probably go Aguilar if I could afford it.... just exploring my options

The SWR cab to have is the Henry 8x8 ! Very versatile and easy to move . But do yourself a favor , skip ampeg and swr and get you an Aguilar with some 12s . My gs412 is the game changer !

Alex Webster started gigging the 8x8 for some shows... I'm not sure why he didn't come to mind when you asked Spector and SWR.

Ive actually only seen an 8x8 live with rock or metal bands.

I know he also uses the Megoliath cabinets as well which are 8x10's if I am not mistaken. He supposedly uses one on each side of the stage with an SWR 1500 watt head driving each cabinet.
