evanatch said:Very nice! My first Spector and comfort strap were kind of "early Christmas presents", but I got a cool new Spector poster for my room. (The one with the NS-4 that says "The revenge of all those trees that fell in the forest and were never heard." Love that.)
also, how are Spector strings? How are those straps? Do they help with 11 lb Spector's?also, how are Spector strings?
Blue black burst sounds fantastic! There is a very good chance I will be getting a special order rebop 5 in 2012. What do you guys think of a blue black burst finish on it?

I love that saying!!! I'd like one of those posters!Very nice! My first Spector and comfort strap were kind of "early Christmas presents", but I got a cool new Spector poster for my room. I don't know about 11 lbs, I'd guess mine is only around 9, but the strap sure is the most comfortable strap I've ever owned. I guess the bass came with Spector strings, and I think they're pretty nice. Honestly I don't know if they're stainless steel or nickel, might be stainless because they don't smell like nickel... I'm no string expert, but they feel and sound pretty good, though I'm probably due to change them.
Speaking of strings, has anyone tried Circle K strings on their Spectors? That balanced tension thing sounds cool and I've only heard good things about them, so I think my next set of strings will be Circle Ks.
Got me a shirt and some bumper stickers for Christmas

LimaGuy would be the expert on the strings.
