Cool I have S2.0 as well. I'll look at the Slate kit.

How are you EQing? Just by ear or any celeb presets?

Weather cleared up a few hours ago, so family pictures now exist. Need to get a camera that focuses better.
Or at least one that didn't have its zoom broken by a too-curious cat testing gravity with it.

When you put them side by side, it becomes quite obvious that the NS20005 is a 35" scale and the NS20004 is 34.

Yeah I'm eq and compressing everything by ear. I don't use any presets. I do some processing inside S2.0 and some outside.

Yeah i almost got an Eleven rack, but i was blown away by the Axe Fx. It took me almost a year to save up for it. My Podxt and Pod 2.0 are just collecting dust on my desk since i got it.

its genre specific, but a cool video. The key with ANY processor is learning how to use it properly. I ran a boss gt6 straight into FOH for 6 years (guitar) and people (musicians) always thought I was running an all tube rig, and ran a ton of pedals. A good guitar and about 6-9 months of tweaking and I found my tones.

The video probably showed the line6 full capacity but 10% of the AxeFX... We all know the good studio tone comes from GuitarRig and plug-ins ;)

Damn! I can't listen to it! I've had no internet connection over the past few days at home and I've managed to mooch on a weak wireless signal until I get things resolved :P
Haven't even been able to log on to TB properly, takes me about 10 minutes to get the page going :D

In other news....I got the gig with Winter Of Freedom!!!
I'm VERY excited! I took my Ampeg rig to our jam on Friday and there was thunder in the house! I am going to need to switch things up a bit for me, so my Euro is going to have to go back to BEAD tuning and I've talked to Sam and he suggested that I shoudl try and do the same with my Forte :D

I have to learn 10 tracks in total for the set list. They also have a new drummer so I'm not the only one learning the songs, which makes it a lot less stressful for me :D

...And, this gorgeous piece of lumber that goes by the name of NS-2 is scheduled to arrive to me on Tuesday!!!:bassist:

AWESOME!!!!! that's great news... Ya man tune that Forte BEAD :hiding: You have 3 VERY sick basses... might as well use 2 in your show :) can't wait to see some pics/video from a show :hyper:

I've talked with Tosin about why he switched to his AxeFx after using Line6 for so long and he explained it came down to not being held back. It came down to hardware... Line6 has a price level they'd like to keep their products at and in doing so they type of processor(among other things) will always be a hold back... Not that line6 stuff won't sound great but the extra money isn't going towards hype when it comes to the Fractal units.
