I've talked with Tosin about why he switched to his AxeFx after using Line6 for so long and he explained it came down to not being held back. It came down to hardware... Line6 has a price level they'd like to keep their products at and in doing so they type of processor(among other things) will always be a hold back... Not that line6 stuff won't sound great but the extra money isn't going towards hype when it comes to the Fractal units.

I'm with you 100% I've known more than one players to go from their line6 to the AxeFX.

Plus I'm a huge supporter of buying used.. which with the newer AxeFX units the older (still epic) units are dropping in price.

The new AxeFX II is $2600 :eek:
The Line6 HD-Pro is $700

for at home use or to mess around... I would buy a hd pro.. If I was a recording genius (like bassgiant) or using it for an album/live use a AxeFX without a question

I appreciate the compliment! I don't feel like a recording genius....most of the time I feel like I barely know what I'm doing.

In other news....I got the gig with Winter Of Freedom!!!
I'm VERY excited! I took my Ampeg rig to our jam on Friday and there was thunder in the house! I am going to need to switch things up a bit for me, so my Euro is going to have to go back to BEAD tuning and I've talked to Sam and he suggested that I shoudl try and do the same with my Forte :D

I have to learn 10 tracks in total for the set list. They also have a new drummer so I'm not the only one learning the songs, which makes it a lot less stressful for me :D

...And, this gorgeous piece of lumber that goes by the name of NS-2 is scheduled to arrive to me on Tuesday!!!:bassist:

I hate dealing with promoters... Patrick actually say first hand once when my old band played Ventura, CA.... Us and Within the Ruins were doing a one off. Showed up to the "venue" and NO ONES there... No local openers... No sound system... We unload the trailers hoping for the best.. Hour after the show was suppose to start the "promoter" shows up and says she had to cancel.. Then gives us money to barely cover gas... My drummer was ready to walk out with a huge painting off the wall lol

Bah. That sux. I'm sorry to hear that, but better to find out there's a problem now than some point way later after you've got more invested in that channel. Is the new merch the white shirt, or more besides that?

And before I forget - Check out the Cue Room in Clermont if that's not too far to drive to gig. They've started booking again. Not sure who their booker is, but if you're interested I can find out for you.

Cool, will do.

New merchant will be. Reordees and whit shirts with blk print. Will have red and grey shirts soon as well. With baby T's and undergarments comming also in about a month.
