Very Nice! But...ummmm....how are you going to make it til Monday now that you've seen a picture??

man, I've seen one or two setups that were similar to the shelf Chrisloe posted, but it was a half shelf. Most people were racking them on the backside of their rack, and it only went halfway through the rack. I'm betting everything in your rack except the amp doesn't go to the back. If you could find one of those half shelves, you can backmount it, then velcro whatever pedals you wanted in there....assuming of course they were "always on" like a compressor would be.

I really love my SKB 6U rack, but I need to invest in something with some back rails. This sounds like a really good idea. I've been thinking about instead of getting rack gear just getting a shelf and putting the pedals on there, but I don't think it'll look very nice. I'd like to keep my Power conditioner and tuner in the rack though.

Also, as some of you may know I'm currently running a Peavey Tour 700 through a Mesa Powerhouse 412. Well a few weeks ago I impulse bought a Mesa Powerhouse 1200 and got it for a good price. I threw it up on the local Kijiji to see what I could get for it, and so far after only one day I have two different people interested in the cab. I was planning on adding this cab to my existing rig eventually and having a cab on each side of the drum kit with my rack on the PH1200, but that really is complete overkill. Would I be crazy to sell this cab locally and pick up another Spector? I've seen a few Rebop5's used recently and a few Euro 5LX's go for really good prices, makes me wish I almost didn't buy this cab even though I love it.

:help:

I have to say I love Spector customer service, I'm ordering some odd parts they don't list on the store, and PJ (by proxy of limaguy) has been helping me out in ordering them, and for someone as busy as PJ must be I'm surprised at how quickly he responds to my emails, considering the basses I'm getting the parts for must seem like ancient history to him right now! :D

Man, if I didn't just buy some PA equipment, and you were closer...I'd love it...I'd have stereo PH1200's then...\m/

Say what you will about the Korean models - with some adjustments & an upgrade to the Tone-Pump (VS. Tone Pump JR) My Classic 4 is a wicked addition to the arsenal. Love the thing ALMOST as much as my old Tobias Classic 4.

Us lefties can't be too choosey - just smart enough to modify. Next up - need bart's for the thing and should be completely up-too-snuff.Link Removed

OUCH! Sorry to see your bass got damaged so badly in the shipping process. All those black stress crack lines in the body are such a shame. I'll be a good TB'er and take if off your hands before it completely falls apart.;)

Seriously, I love spalted wood and satin or matt finishes and that particular body shape. Beautiful bass, great catch. Happy NBD.:bassist:

i have a spector and love it, but i always wonder, why cant he make these things so you can actually reach the 24th fret? and, if he doesnt want us to use it, why is it there?

What?!?!:eyebrow:I do not have any trouble reaching the 24th fret on my Forte 4.
Matter of fact...I can reach the neck P pup! Lol
I have size large hands too. But they are not overly big for my 6'2" frame. Maybe if someone has size small hands you might have trouble...don't know.
