those stinking dead notes kill me. thats what im having a real hard time with. but tonight, the right hand figured out a way to strike the strings.:hyper: i tried on the song "forget me nots" and it came to me.:) now if i can get it all together with some help from jaymi, i might start to learn how to do it properly. :hiding:

The dead note thing is mostly to do with the fretting hand. My slapping hand hits the same its you have to have a good grasp with the holding of the fret hand enough so it don't ring....again the slapping hand is on auto pilot. You don't want to worry about looking at that hand and concentrate on just the fretting hand.....speaking of which I haven't done some slapping songs in a couple of years. My current situation doesn't call for it....anyways it was fun learning back in the day...I will try to paste some real good books/videos I learned from.

I've been following Anthony Vitti's lessons on YouTube. I'm all about economy of motion and his method speaks to me in that regard. Anyway he has eight of them. Here's the first. Unfortunately no SPECTOR he uses an "F" word bass

Have to get ready for work...I will try to find the little green one...its a everyday book, one of my favorites!!!...combines hammer-ons and pull-offs in a scale progression, very awesome!!!...well help your technique BIG TIME!!

Swapped out my EMG's out of my Euro this weekend, for a set of SGD ND3 40's.

Still has the "Spector" sound when the pan is centered, but has completely different sounds, when either solo'ed to the bridge or neck. Still using the same audere classic 4band pre. I'm considering to remove the classic 4band, for an active/passive 3zb and add a series/split switch for each pickup..........Think it might make it versatile.

I've always loved the Ouroboros symbol and concept. The reason for the "Asian" looking font is because our Keyboardist is Japanese and the Guitarist / Vocalist is part Asian as well :P
