Unfortunately, I haven't gigged recently. I hope to be out there again in the next 3-6 months (band is looking for a vocalist and lead guitarist). Until then, here's a shot of me playing a punk show in 2003 in Columbus, OH. I played two different sets that night with the same band, using two different names!

Yes, it does look blueish and sometimes greenish and even purple-ish depending on the lighting. Actual color is grey and black stained.

Today I had the urge to measure the scale of my NS4CR. It's an early model (1993-1994). It's 17.25" from nut to 12th, 34.5" from nut to bridge saddle.
Do we round up, or is 34.5" a legit scale measurement for this model?

The ns4cr is a 34 scale bass .

I have a White one coming in 2 months...might play it for a week and not like it for some reason and say..3 White Spector basses?? to much for me and sell it or one of my white ns2a's...who knows..

I think I ordered it before my second white one not sure...but 3 white basses???...I think 2 is enough...why do I always get myself in these pickles!!, haha...now I want one that looks like the one Donny just got.

Took a trip to see some bands yesterday. Outdoor festival in Orlando FL. The headlining act was Godsmack which, as most of you know, features Spector artist Robbie Merrill. Right before Godsmack was Staind with Spector artist and Talkbass member Johnny April. Also on the bill were Pop Evil with Spector Artist Matt DiRito on bass. Twas good to see Spector basses represented so well at a major show. You can look up what type of bass each artist plays. Our man Johnny was rocking a Spector shirt so he gets extra points. However, even without the Spector shirt, the day was owned by Johnny. Easily the best bass tone of the day with Robbie a very close second. Matt a very distant muddy third. What constitutes best in this case was Just my personal taste. But even my wife, who is not a bass nerd, commented on the sound of Stainds bass. You could hear it. You could feel it. Excellent growl/grit.

Yup, I have a transition ns4cr they are closer to a ns2 then the current euro series IMHO
