I've missed them the last couple times they've come through my area, but my friend who caught their last show said that they did not disappoint! Also, I read in an interview that Liam uses a Spector sometimes in the studio, which earns them some bonus points! I may do unretrofied (I think that's the title) at some point. That groove he has going in the verses is awesome.

I haven't played PJ basses for 15 years but I know what you mean. I wanted to get PJ pups put on my Forte 5 but ended up with 40P5 40J's. I love resting my thumb on the top corner of the P pup...more comfortable than a soap bar corner, right?! All of the 4 strings I order will be PJs!

On the PJ note. I'm thinking about tricking this Legend Custom I just took ownership of. What are those EMG soapbars that are really PJ's? Are the 35J and 35P?

I'm also looking to swap out my gold hardware for black (4 string) if anyone is interested in a swap? If not, does Spector sell the tuning machines? I saw I could get the bridge on their site. Guess I'd need some black knobs too with the split (3 band EQ) bass/treble stack.

I'll get some pics of her tomorrow but so far I'm really liking the way this thing plays! Shocker right?:cool:

I finished back to back 5 hour gigs at a casino - and I'm hurting, lol. The IEMs were really good - but the FOH was really low - cuz, you know - everyone's gambling and playing slots and black jack. Still, it was fun and a good experience. I used my Rebop through my RH450, then pre EQ from the DI. I could actually hear myself clearly, but it's hard to 'rock out' when the volume is low. I love the Tonepump though, just a nudge on the treble and the Rebop just sings with the high transients, really helps during bass solo and to get the nice 'string clack'.
