I finished back to back 5 hour gigs at a casino - and I'm hurting, lol. The IEMs were really good - but the FOH was really low - cuz, you know - everyone's gambling and playing slots and black jack. Still, it was fun and a good experience. I used my Rebop through my RH450, then pre EQ from the DI. I could actually hear myself clearly, but it's hard to 'rock out' when the volume is low. I love the Tonepump though, just a nudge on the treble and the Rebop just sings with the high transients, really helps during bass solo and to get the nice 'string clack'.

I am thinking that if someone wanted to, I could take payments for 5 months and when it's paid, send you the bass and hopefully have my new NS-2 about the same time.

The bass is in great shape, built in 2009, plays and sounds great, I would not be broken hearted if I ended up keeping it.
Want the non intonation screw bridge or the one with intonation screws? I have both. The non intonation bridge is on the bass and I have a brand new bridge that has not even been opened with the intonation screws from Spector. Both will come with, and of coarse a hard shell Spector Case.

Again, just want to see if anyone would be into something like this. If you have questions, want to talk price or have any details or a NS-2 you might want to trade for the NS-4, PM me.

Chris, I swapped my DCs for the 35PJ set in my Forte X, and I love the sound. Not sure how it'll sound with the 18v HAZ, but I'm sure it'll sound great. Give it a shot, they just pop right in. If I ever grabbed an NS-4, I'd definitely get a set of 35PJs just to have on hand.

I know what you are talking about, from the opposite side. I've been playing humbucker-equipped basses for quite some time (Spector less than a year though) and I'm used to using the pickups as ramps (I think thats what it is called) and when i got my P-J Euro it took quite a bit of geting used to, I wasn't able to play as fast or effortlessly as on my NS20004, because of the shape of the pickups. Although my Euro is a keeper since I like having a different sound in my stable :D

hi guys
i was on the SPECTOR site and saw the link for this forum and decided to check it out! i haven't played in a while and am looking to get back into it. i really liked the last Staind record and i know Johnny plays Spector basses. can you guys tell me which one(s) he uses? i know some of his tone live has to come from that massive rig he has but his Spectors always sound awesome, both with fingerstyle and when using a pick.

Sumgruuvz nailed. Legend 5 mainly. He does have a coupe Euro 5LX basses but prefers the Legends. He also tunes it G#, C#, G#, C#, F# which I have to believe helps give his monster tone live..

welcome back and I'm sure we can help find you a bass :) :hyper::bassist:
