Yep that was guy.n.cognito's beauty.

Mrf - you don't know how super close I was to buying that! Glad you got it. It should feel and sound amazing....no way it can't...it's a Spector.

But alas I passed on it for something VEEEERY special that is enroute to me as we speak. Stay tuned.....

yep it was his. he bought it new...then sold it to another tb'er for like a day and he listed it right away, just was not his thing... ...I happened to stumble onto it and the rest will be history.
Waiting for payment on my bass sold today to pay off this..should be shipping to me monday. Hope to be doing a plug n play by mid week?

What did you get your hands on NOW? Guess ya cannot tell just yet huh? lol :ninja:

Atleast I'm keeping my Forte 5! :D I'm just turning into a 5 string snob! Hehehe! :p I'm waiting to put money down on a new Coda 5 Deluxe! Bahama Blue body, BEM fretboard, Abalone inlays, chrome hardware, OBP2 pre active/passive switchable, 35" scale. :bassist: :)

Daddy needs to sell a couple basses! FYI I lowered price on the Forte 4 to $1900.00!

Man oh man... That coda sounds pretty darn sexy!

I would prefer not to sell my Forte, but I already have one really good offer on it and I REALLY want a 5 string U.S. BO with the thinner neck profile...and jazz pickups! The Forte 5 has a thicker neck profile than my short fat fingers can't handle! lol!

I love my Forte, but I need a Spector 5'er!!!!

Last week I measure both Forte 4/5 neck profiles and posted it. The winner is the Forte 5 for thinner front to back neck! YEAH!!!!:hyper:

I don't see why people gotta hate on fender, I mean I thought the Spector club was about acceptance and not hating!
And how can you hate on the guy who made the first mass production electric bass?

I personally have a number of different basses, for any occasion, I used to only play passive P-basses, but have since spread out a bit, though my only actives are Spectors (haz-copy is so warm sounding it might as well be passive!) and from playing everything from the cheapest crap bass to some really nice ones, there is a tone for everyone.

To be honest for buying new I find Squier's mid-priced range of basses (not the super cheap $100 ones) are some of THE best bang-for-your-buck basses brand new.

Used Spectors are still better bang though :D If like me you don't care about wear and tear. Almost completed my collection, just holding out for the right NS-2A...

I made the comment but it was about that particular bass... I like p basses but that fender sting plays is hideous. No hate on fender just that model ;-)

Some basses jut aren't appealing to everyone, even worn that bass turns me off. I've owned fenders and liked them so no worries brotha

I have an NS2A with your name on it and I was not baggin on Fenders...I have had a number just not my thing right now.

Unfortunately the NS-2A I'm looking for will have the original preamp and pickups, possibly change out the stock pickups for vintage PAF Dimarzio Model P+J pickups I have (IMO best pickups ever made...) hotter than hot and mids for days. But I gotta have that original haz :D

Also I have 3 red basses and that is a lot of red....
