If I were to ever get an older one again, it'd probably be a Kramer-era model bc they made more 5'ers during that period.

They did make more 5 strings during the Kramer period, but good luck finding one of the 74. I'm dieing to get my hands on one. Only thing tougher to find is a fretless from either Brooklyn or Kramer. There were only 38 during the Kramer era.

Hey guys AJ from dickhead designs is looking to confirm some nut measurements on an NS2A over in the hardware section. Can anyone help them out?

Mine looks like 1-11/16''. There's a chart floating around here somewhere that lists it as 1.65''.

Like others have warned though, be prepared to suddenly sell off other basses to acquire more Spectors...

Yup. That belonged to Guy.N.Cognito but he needed a 5 string for his new band if I am not mistaken so he sold it.

Mrf - you don't know how super close I was to buying that! Glad you got it. It should feel and sound amazing....no way it can't...it's a Spector.

But alas I passed on it for something VEEEERY special that is enroute to me as we speak. Stay tuned.....

I've been playing only my Spector Euro LX basses for the past 18 months. I love my two Rics, & will most likely never sell them, but the Jazz, Stingray, Hamer-12, Steinberger Spirits and Ibanez ATK basses may be leaving the stable soon to make room for a few more Spector Euros.

Just snagged it off of CL last week for about 1/3 of what I paid for my white Euro LX. She has a few minor dings & scratches, but what an incredible sound! The solid maple wings do give the older ones a bit darker sound with some added low end. Thinking about grabbing a 3rd one in blueburst soon - Spector lust never ends...
