Fender guy here, looking forward to my new bass and joining the club as I had a chance over the weekend to check out a similar bass and was really impressed with the feel and playability, can't wait, also wanted to say how helpful Mike and everyone here has been in making me feel comfortable with my decision to purchase what I did not know was his first Spector bass, promise to take good care of it, be back as soon as I get to play, Vinny
I got the Legend 4
but some of us cant afford more, such as myself. VERY NICE! I started my Spector collection with a Legend 4! Great bass for the money!
+1
Just a word of advice, Spector's are highly addictive!!! I've owned 6 in 7 years and about to order a custom BO from the NY factory!
+1. very nice!
Welcome to the Family!![]()
Fellow Spector enthusiatst... I am in need of some assistance and would greatly appreciate it if you could spare a moment of your time. Our singer is adamant about wanting to change the name of our band... he doesn't like having it named after him (The Chris Feller Band). So we've come up with a few possibles and if you'd be so kind as to give your input as to which you like the best. Just follow the link and vote for one:

thats what I'm afraid of, already decided to sell a p bass and a squier fretless and I haven't even gotten the spector yet.

I picked up the NS-5 this weekend and man is that thing sweet. It has a good bit of wear on it but feels great. I took it over to my rehearsal room and it sounds epic. Pix soon!!

he has been nothing but up front and great to deal with. When I first saw the Ad for the White NS-2A, I got very excited, my first Spector (That I still have, it's black now and beat up pretty bad) was a White NS-2A. I have always wanted another one, but it had to be the "Right" one. Lots of them are really beat up, I wanted one that was in good shape that I could play and not do anything to.
I was excited until I saw Steve's asking price, just out of the question for me for that bass. Than after JPS talked to him, I PM'ed him and told him if he was looking to sell it at closer to the going price for an NS-2A, I would be interested. He PM'ed me back and then we talked on the phone for about 45 minutes. I can say Steve seems like a very nice guy, and I believe he honestly didn't know what it was worth. I don't believe he was trying to rip anyone off and now that I have bought the bass![]()

He is going through some pretty heavy medical stuff, I can relate. He really doesn't want to sell the bass, but has to, and he has a MTD he loves he is keeping, but he does want to get another Spector when the time comes he is back on his feet.
Not starting anything here, just letting you know he seems like a stand up guy and has been great to deal with. Once I get the bass I hope it is in the condition he says it is, I will hopefully let you know that the bass is as awesome as he says it is. I told him we will welcome him into the Spector club when the day comes he gets another one.
"and give my best to the Spector folks at TB, I never have a moment to get there myself."

ReBop 5 possibly incoming............................![]()

Nice! First an NS-5 and now a Rebop 5? Please post pics when you can since we all love seeing everyone's Spector's.

These are pretty much straight out of the box. I've been too busy playing it to take time away to clean it. This is my first Spector and I gotta admit, I am very impressed.
All it needs now is a good once over with some cleaner, a set of DR Black Beauties and a setup. Although I can't do a setup because I have absolutely no idea what size truss rod tool I need or what size allen key is needed for the bridge, lol. If anyone knows, please give me a heads up.

As official Spector Pimp I have to jump in with a public Pimp message.
