Cool thanks now for the doosie. As you can see in my ns2a i have 3 9v batteries wth

Looks like it ha some active pups and someone decided to have one battery per pickup and a battery for the preamp .

If jarrod is correct and the batteries are wired in parallel (9V)... everything is cool. If they're wired in series (27V) and you run more than one... things may get toasty.

My NS-2A had a 2nd battery clip wired in parallel so you could easily change the battery without having to fiddle with the rigidly mounted battery clip on the pc board.

Everything I've read has said that the Korean HAZ copy should only be powered with 9V.
