SPECTOR® Club - Part 32

Holy crap, NS-2A is like brand new! White, very clean, very cool looking, it doesn't sound as I would like, sounds good, but I think it needs the Haz... Temping.

Only downside so far is that I wanted to play it, it was packed in packing peanuts, which would have been fine but I turned my back to get the bass out of the gig bag and check it out and the kids got the box...2 hours later I finally got them all cleaned up. More of a review to come, here's a pic and a pic of the mess:(

Anyone know for sure will the Haz fit in a NS-2A?

I imagine it would since it's built for a copy...

I wonder if you may have to enlarge the holes but as far as cavity size, I'm sure it would fit.

I have seen that peanut mess way too often. Usually the kids and the cats involved in the mess. :D

I just measured the control cavity of my NS-2 vs my NS-2A and the NS-2A is 1mm smaller across and the same width so there should be plenty of room for the Haz board.

The pot holes should be big enough since the NS-2A's came with the Haz copy and I know that also had larger pots then standard EMG pots.

The pot holes on my NS-2A are 10mm wide the pots on the new Haz board in my Forte are 9mm wide so you should be ok both ways.

I keep saying "should" since you never know with the Kramer era if things changed on each individual bass.

The ReBop I have incoming is nice, but there's been an influx of Euro 5's that have hit the market here recently after I already moved ahead on that one... I shoulda waited! :bawl:
Oh well. It'll take me a week or two to decide if I want to keep it or not, so hopefully there will be some nice Euro 5's still available in the next month or so.
