Ah, yes. NBD. That day is TODAY for me.
My Alex Webster sig model will be delivered by the brown truck sometime this afternoon.
They say 1:15 - 5:15pm, but they never show up before 6:00pm.
I wonder if the delivery guy knows it's my Spector? Maybe he'll come sooner... :D

Right on, man. Can't wait to hear your review. I just put my Warwicks up for sale in the classifieds and will be buying another Spector, hopefully soon!

Sweet! Amos (sumgroovz) just sold his Warwick; it got a little dicey, and he was worried that it wasn't gonna sell...
There are a lot of proud Warwick owners on TB; every time I mention the dozens of Spector converts on here, they quickly reply with a retort about how they all tried Spectors, and are still in love with their Warwicks!
Maybe one of them will buy yours!!! :bassist:

Beautiful and clean NS-94!!! Congratulations!
thank you kind sir ;) it plays like butta and now the legend will be the drop d bass. which means less playing time for it.

Hey guys. I can't take it anymore. My Rebop gave me a taste and I need more. I now need a Euro badly and I have my sights on a few. I just listed my two Warwick Thumbs in the classifieds, so if you know anyone please send em' my way. Appreciate it!

you have left the dark side :)

Ok....I decidEd to put my prized custom Warwick up for sale to try an American Spector........
i don't think you'll regret it. that burl is awesome amazing beautiful.

it sounded good, but was just uncomfortable to play. no contour on the body. neck felt a little funky. just not what i thought it was going to be. completely different from the badass basses known as spector. :bassist:
good luck selling those wicks. if theyre german made, you probably wont have any trouble with them.

We want pix of that Webster too!

Congrats - NBD's are the best!
I have a NBD coming tomorrow that I've waited 25 years for....

That's the FIRST order of business, once I unpack it!

I'm saving the box to use when I ship my Euro5 to the lucky new owner...it's only a matter of time!

This bass has been a mystery on TB for a while, so I'll be proud and happy to share some "real deal" pics and info, and educate the masses (including myself) on its ability to transmit terror in the low register!!!! :bassist:

3 weeks!!!!! :bassist:
Ah! You can do that standing on your head! Haha! :hiding:

You'll never regret it bro! :bassist: I'm 110% happy with my USA Spectors! Couldn't imagine anything else I'd want to play! :ninja:

You won't be disappointed. The USA NS-5(XL) is just an extremely stellar instrument.
A1+!!!

Co-signed. My Forte 4 is sublime.
Right on!!!

Man I've been back and forth on 5/4 for years . I've always kept at least one 5 , mainly the trans red rex5 . But kinda itching for another euro 5 .
I had been doing that the last 2 years and suddenly it struck me! I keep going back to the 5r's and neglecting the 4's more and more. When I didn't have a 5r around, I realized how much I really missed them. After all you can do everything on a 5 that you can play on a 4 but not visa versa.

The more I look at them in these threads, the more the Forte 5 really appeals to me. Now if I could just find one used.... :hiding::hiding:
Well I told you I'm NOT selling mine. Haha! ;)

Sounds cool! Bass is solid. Is your NS-2A stock???

And you're right about getting out of the comfort zone. That's the beauty of music - you never stop learning new tricks!
Ya got that right! Two weeks ago our lead guitard in our church band wanted us to start using a different beat style...at first my thoughts were, oh maaan! But after putting a positive mind into it, I found it quite fun! Plus I learned something new!

Yes and there is a pretty one in the classifieds within 3 hours from me that I have my sights on!

:hiding:
Oh yeh!!!

I just got an ns2000/4 and while its an awesome bass and I dont have the funds to try an American, I would never get rid of my Warwick for a Spector, sorry guys but sound wise (at least for me) the $$ gots what I needs, now on the other hand in the looks department, Spectors always got me droolin.
