Anyone local to New England, the Music Mill in Manchester NH has a Coda-4 in blue with a tort guard for $1399 with OHSC. I checked it out and other than a couple of dings she's a beauty.

Hmmmm, I've never actually played a Coda before. Might need take a drive up there to check that out. There's also the matter of that $499 tobacco burst Rebop on their site...

Actually the previous owner put in some good upgrades on this one has emg35dc's and an mm114 which I believe is the haz copy. He also put on a USA bridge and gotoh tuners, the tuners on this thing are top notch, best tuners Ive had yet!

Discon ? Donny and jaymi both have recently purchased one . Yes to in a euro , I have one in mine . Fresh batteries are the key to me . Good sounding preamp . But I would buy something different I money wasn't a factor in the decision . But for 80 bucks , hard to beat !

I think I got mine for less than that... its a cool preamp, I prefer the Tonepump over it tho.

They're on a serious back order right now from Mighty-Mite. I had to send back a defective one in January and I'm still waiting for the replacement.

Edit: just emailed Mighty-Mite and they are in fact discontinued. Just my luck the one perfect product I want I can't get.

Edit 2: Emailed the retailer about refunding my money and he assures me that he has some coming in and I said if so I'll wait for one. Man this is going on 5 months now. Frustrating.

Quick question for ya sumgruuvz. I know you are an AIC fan, was Mike Starr playing a Spector on all his recordings? I was listening and jamming along with some of those Facelift songs last night. It's the only AIC disc I don't have (shame on me) and I'm kind of rediscovering it now. Just curious. Also, who played on Jar of Flies? That record is a masterpiece in my book.

yes. inez played jar of flies. but if im right, i read somewhere he played a spector on jof???? anyway, mike starr played on facelift, dirt, and sap. all of which i highly recommend. here is one of my favorite starr tones off of sap.
