Oh, you must not know Sam too wellHe knows every Spector being sold across the country and has most likely tried to get all of us to but one of them at some point, LOL.

Yeah I love Empire too. I just picked "Eyes of a Stranger" because it seems the studio engineers set the high pass filters and really let the bass breathe and break through.......more than normal that is.

I was just thinking how cool it was that I mention I bought Spector and not only did he know which one, but he also provided pictures. How cool is that!
I was wondering who picked up that natural finish beauty. I had been watching that for a while... but didn't pull the trigger because I found a pretty sweet 5-string.

PM sent. I would love to see those pics. Thank you.

Sam is like the Master/Blaster of Spector trading... except instead of like being the big dude who carries the little dude around... he's just one kick-bootay package.
Or take that dude "The Night Rider" from the first Mad Max movie... genetically morph him with "The Toecutter" - The same movie... and then add the Lord Humungous from "The Road Warrior" and the "Wez" character from that movie... but not the version of that character from "The Road Warrior" but the version of "Wez" that showed up in Gary's living room in "Weird Science".
Yeah. That and Harry Canyon, the cab driver in "Heavy Metal".
Mmmmm.
That's about it.
Did I mention Sam is totally cool?

Here's a shot from a recent concert. Right before I brought the hammer down!

Man I love how Spectors look even in black and white. They instantly add class and attitude. I'd like to see some more live pics from everyone! \m/

I started thinking about what drew me in to Spector all those years ago. Certainly Inez and Starr but it was mostly Eddie and Rachel. Here's two youtube clips that I feel really personify the NS 2 and Haz (for that matter) in the mix. Just lean, mean, f*&king grind. To me, this is what the bass should sound like. Put on some headphones and enjoy:
