Only two strings away from an attitude problem.
My NSCRFM arrived today and I've just finished cleaning her up. Now I have to wait until tomorrow after work before I can play loud. Can't wait.

What are those strange items behind the Spectors on the rack?
I sense some more Spectors moving into the rack soon
My NBD was last Friday, and I only got a few hours with it. Just long enough to replace the strings and do a full setup on it. By the time I finished it was too late to plug it into the amp so I jammed it thru my Pocket Rocket headphone amp.
The electronics are a mess. They work, but the bass boost pot is hosed. It pulls up about a 1/4" and rotates 360 in both directions with little to no effect on the tone, so I'll need to replace that. I'm not really digging the EMG HZs either, they are better than what I expected, but it can be so much more. I'm not so sure about the Tonepump either, but I'll give it a shot with a pair of DC40s wired up for 18V.
I haven't been home much this past weekend, worked 25hrs of OT, so I gotta fat ass check comin that has new p'ups written all over it.
I'll have pics of it up later this week, if I can get some time away from the grind.

Haha. I've actually done from zero to two in seven weeks, so you are probably right.
It's actually in pretty good condition, too. I'm totally pissed at Guitar Center, though. The sent me the DR Hi Beams with the bass, I tore them open and curt them to the exact size as the strings on the bass (I was in a hurry) and strated stringing it up G, D, A, and when I got to E I noticed the string tapering off before the nut.
They sent me short scale strings! The package looks the same. The only difference in one letter on a code and I usually on bought a 5-string set. I had no idea. So, now I have cut short scale strings I cant use. The worst part is now I have to wait to hear it with good ones. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
