The mighty mite mm114 was a copy of the Haz Labs design it was never stock in any Spector model.

The Korean 9Volt Circuit came stock in NS-2As.
There was also a Czech Made 9Volt Circuit (which was in WilsonMusic's old SSD NS-4CR)
There was also a slightly different looking one in the old Jaymi mystery NS-2A.

Below are a few different photos of the 9Volt Circuits.
I couldn't find the photo of the Czech Made one.

I played through the Svt2 pro(80 lbs) and the Svt4 pro (42 lbs)...and my Spectors sounded better with the 4. For me passive basses sound better with all tube amps and since my Spectors are active for me they sound better with solid state amps...just my opinion....I am using a Thunderfunk 550b now and it gives me the sound of the bass, very transparent...:bassist::bassist::bassist:

Mine is a 2 non pro. I didn't care for the 4. I did like the 7 though.

Build quality as with all spectors is top notch. Tone is pretty good, but I'm not a bolt on guy. The neck was a little flat for me ( and a little sharp ) on the ones I played, could use to have the edges rolled. They have a black cherry one at Sam ash here that I have played a lot. Its a nice 5, I gotta have NT though. Their very close to the rebops. Swap out pups and pre if ya want and you have a beast. Good stock as well.

Easy peasy! For my ReBop 5 I ordered directly thru Spector store, $25.00. Take strings off, use a common flt tip screwdriver or a punch with a light weight hammer just lightly tonk the nut. The glue they use at the factory isn't very heavy at all. Lightly scrape any hardened glue where the nut set. Setting the new nut you can just use Elmer's white or wood glue. A little goes a long ways! Use sparingly! Once. It is set in place it's best to use a clamp of sorts to clamp onto the nut until glue drys. I've replaced 3 nuts with brass nuts so far. The other 2 brass nuts I ordered thru [email protected] AJ custom cuts the nuts for your bass for $20.00 each. Theres no filing needed.
The profits goes to a charity for kids to learn to play instruments. It's his way of giving back to the community.

I love mine. It's built very solidly, I've dinged mine a few times and there aren't any noticeable marks on it. the edges on the frets were a tad sharp when I got it, but my tech filed ten down when he did the initial setup on it. The neck profile thing is pure preference, but I like it. The sound stock is pretty decent too. My big complaint is that I don't feel the tonepump jr is very flexible, so when I do use the EQ controls on it I use them lightly. I feel like a pickup/pre swap could only make it better, but it sounds pretty darn good stock IMO.

+1. It was an '03 Euro that really got me hooked on Spector. I only sold it to fund a Forte. But, man, that was a stellar instrument.

Thanks for the info. Smadder suggested the same guy. I'm going to give him a call in the morning. I sit here in awe sometimes reading all the knowledge everyone here has. Not to mention all the Spector porn that's posted.

Right now my main rig is an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 and GS 4x12 cab.

I've also gigged the DB751 and AG500 for a while. The Tone Hammer 500 is so fun and the most versatile IMO ... the DB751 sounded the best with minimum tweaking.. the AG500 wasnt my favorite for my last project which is what my Tone Hammer 500 replaced.

I also just got a vintage Sunn 2000s 2x15 cab thats amazing in its own right :bassist:
