Someone else we know has a highly upgraded rebop five for sale in the classifieds too.....lol

Thanks Grendle. So worth the money? I have $1K coming to me and was looking for a good fiver.I was thinking between the Legend, Warwick Rockbass Fortress or a Schecter Studio. What do you think?

Shaun

that is right a ReBop may be right up your alley. Brotherbassj has 2 fivers for sale.... both with different upgrades.

Right now my main rig is an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 and GS 4x12 cab.

I've also gigged the DB751 and AG500 for a while. The Tone Hammer 500 is so fun and the most versatile IMO ... the DB751 sounded the best with minimum tweaking.. the AG500 wasnt my favorite for my last project which is what my Tone Hammer 500 replaced.

I also just got a vintage Sunn 2000s 2x15 cab thats amazing in its own right :bassist:

I've been really jonesin to try the Tone Hammer. But, my TC Electronics rig gets it done. RH450, RS210 and RS212. I might be the only one 'in da club' using TC Electronic...:hmm:

Buy a used euro 5 for just a little more money. It's a LOT more bass for the $. And you will not regret it. The legend is a great bass, but there's not much out there under 3k that even comes close to a euro. The euro is basically a hand built custom instrument. You won't regret it. Or look for a used legend here. There are mint ones around in cool colors and save your self a bunch of cash for a rig or other toys. That's just me though, I almost never buy new.

TC user here too.....love my Ampeg stuff, but the TC stuff gets it done with lightweight and a small footprint. Great for the small/corner stages. :bassist:

With 1K you could get a used ReBop 5 if you're wanting a bolt on neck or a Euro-5LX if you want a neckthru, or NS-2A.

Once again, great advice from Grendle. Buy a used mint all original euro and you won't regret it. I just bought a used mint Spector Euro 4LX in the high gloss Poplar burl/birds eye finish that just destroys about every high end bass I own (Spector club pics will come soon, this one is the best looking Poplar finish I've ever seen).
You can get them used in your price range from GC or TB or eBay or music stores. Try a few, you'll fall in love.
