I changed the knobs on my Zebop.

Prayers your way!!

ice, prayers sent buddy! sorry im late, but i just got home for lunch :/

+1

Prayers sent your way Ice!

Ice - no worries! I've had THREE hernia surgeries (inguinal, not hiatal); it's a breeze. It's uncomfortable for a few days, as a cut in the gut is expected to be, especially when standing, as gravity is the enemy!
Make sure she's comfy in bed, and most importantly, FILL the pain meds Rx immediately!!!
She won't forget these things if you do em! :)
Got it brother! :) Thanks!
no scripts, smoke mary jane. that'll make things better ;) j/k. well not really but you get my point.
:D
Prayers going up for sure here
Thank you to all of you great guys! My Wife finally got out of surgery @1:30...now resting well. Even took her first walk. Dr. said the Hiatal Hernia was pretty bad.

And whatever you do, do not make her laugh! Nothing hurts more after abdominal surgery than laughing. If you don't want the mother of all groin kicks, do not make her laugh. Nothing is funny! Except groin kicks when they aren't done to you of course.
For sure! :eek: :D
Actually that's true. Most of you guys know how much surgery I've had between 2005 and now and my surgeon says that he wishes GA had legalized medical mj. It's better for abdominal pain post surgery than opiates. Oh well. That's the south.
I agree...Narcotics are the worse thing to be addicted to. That's the only way I can get thru the day though because of my torn up left shoulder. Michigan did legalize MJ for medicinal.:hyper:
I had a close relative tell me this weekend that he ingests it via bake goods and it takes their pain away from shoulder injury.
No it's true. I hate having to be on pain pills for the rest of my life. I'd gladly take something that didnt have physical addiction factors instead. I hate my pain medication, but ill be in the hospital without it. Sucks. But thus is a conservative south. Why alcohol is sold 7 days a week and cigarettes and mj isn't even available with a scrip is completely beyond me. It's not even reasonable nor does it make medical sense.

Wow. I just bitched about that. sorry guys. Not the right place.

Ditto Smadder! I hear ya!

Cangrats on your purchases and let the SAS ....begin! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

Welcome everyone!!!:hyper::bassist:

Hey guys, so I bought smadder's Aguilar OBP-2 to put in my CRFM. It's going to be my wannabe Forte and I'm real excited about that! Killer deal from Steve, as usual.

I now have my sights on the new MM Rebop, which I hope to buy when it comes out. That blue and the maple board. Love it! Just need to pay down my last Rebop so i can buy it. I just put up my Warwick Thumb 5 and could use some bumps here and there if you find yourself cruisin' the classifieds. I'll really appreciate it!

getting rid of ol warwick, huh?

Sorry if this has been asked a million times, I did a search but didn't find the answer so...

I'm looking for a hard case for my new (to me) Ian Hill Signature bass. The soft case that came with the bass is fine, I'm just more of a fan of hard cases. The Spector case is a bit pricey. Is there an aftermarket case that fits well that is more affordable or should I just bite the bullet and get the Spector hard case?

TIA,

--jack

This one!:hyper::bassist:
Gotta' agree.
I've always liked the old style EMG knobs,
from the time I first saw them on my Steinberger in '85
to my first Spectors a few years later.

Effective and simply elegant in their own right. They just look right.

Even though I prefer the gold hardware on most Spectors,
I've always thought these simple black EMG knobs looked much better then when someone put gold ones on.
For some reason it makes it look like when some of the really cheap overseas guitars put them on in an effort to make the guitar look more expensive. Blech!
