Congrats!

I'll be sure to post tonight after I get home from work and such.

So what do you think of the Coda?
Look above.![]()
Haha, we posted within 2 minutes of each other.
In short, I like the bass a lot.
The neck did surprise me a little, but I can't say that I dislike it. It still feels very comfortable.
Quality and fit and finish are spot on. I dig it.
My only complaint is the bridge. I'm not a fan of a bent metal plate without grooves for the saddle screws to rest in. Like I said, anyone know of a replacement?
Would the Babicz work?

Hmmmm, not sure since I am not familiar with the measurements of the Babicz. I think you can also order the Coda with a Hipshot type A bridge so that might be the same size but I would have to check the measurements on that too. I had a type A bridge in my Clement bass and loved it so that might be an option for you.
Here are the measurements for the hipshot

Hmmm...so far not good.Well, the bass got here and as I was in between clients I unboxed it and played it for a brief minute. Let me just say, this bass is top quality for sure. One thing that surprised me, is the neck feels very "substancial" much thicker than many of the J's that I've played. I got off of work, went to supervision, and then had dinner with my gf and spent some time with her. I had to do some paperwork once I got home, but I just spent some time with the bass. The neck is not what I was expecting, but I can't say I dislike it either. More time is needed!![]()

Also, I don't care for this type of bridge. Does anyone know if there is a direct replacement for the Spector's?

Just got back from Marcus Miller and im on top of the world right now, great nite! Met the man twice, snuck up on the floor for one song so it was pounding me in the chest. Truely a humble man who appreciates the avenue his life has taken, blessed for the opportunity to shake his hand and thank him.
I have them on my Rebop 5DLX & won't ever go to a different string. I've gone through 5 DIFFERENT brands & sets of strings in the 8 months I've had it, and these ones I like.
I might try some of the other colours, too.
