Another week, another Spector club thread

In.

I've been playing the gloss white Wimbish-necked Euro LX since I got it on Thursday and I've decided that it doesn't really work as well for me as the Ian Hill profile or even the regular Euro 4 LX profile. The strings are just too close for me at the bottom of the neck and I can't get comfortable. I've emailed Beaver and asked if he'd take it back and let me order a white Ian Hill instead. We'll see. I didn't custom order this one, Bass Central did and i just claimed one of the two they had ordered from the CR factory. So I'm hoping he doesn't pull a "can't return a custom ordered bass" line since I wasn't the one who custom ordered it. Plus it's white and a Wimbish neck - he'll move it fast.

I'd offer it up to everyone on the club, but I paid $1999 for it and I want to get that money back either in the form of a white Ian Hill, a White Euro LX 4 or a refund. Unless a club member wants to take a brand new custom Euro off me for $1999. I'll just float that out there. Hopefully, Beaver will work with me on this.

But anyway - I'm in with the current family. I WILL have a white Spector 4. I'm just gonna have to be patient and order what I know and am comfortable with instead of letting myself get talked into stuff.

Same with me, too tight from 1-3 frets...Also the spacing of the strings on NS2a's a little tighter than like Euro and NS2's...So now I have everything with same spacing, good when you don't usually look at fretboard and go by memory instead of looking at your fretboard the whole time when playing. :bassist::bassist::bassist:

Shouldn't the old thread be closed? There a few posts after you posted the link to this thread.

Marshall will be along soon to close it.
We should probably leave these duties to the Mods.
Besides the inability to close the thread ourselves (except the one who opened it), not having the forwarding link at the end,
sooner or later more than one member is going to get too "ambitious" and we'll have multiple part 49 threads. :eyebrow:

sooner or later more than one member is going to get too "ambitious" and well have multiple part 49 threads. :eyebrow:

I spoke to Marshall about this when I started the last one. He's actually happy not starting the new thread.

When I saw the post count was at 1000 I started the new one and figured that everyone would see their's a new thread and to post there.

No worries, I will stop being ambitious and allow the mods or another member to start the threads. I just like to be proactive.
