Just unpacked and tested B3K, Guys I must say it's the best overdrive I've ever heard with bass. And fortunately it sounds quite articulate with my NS-2, I was a bit warried how Spector's naturally aggressive tone would marry overdrive...it did perfectly.

Yep, you can now sell all other overdrives. The B3K cured ALL my overdrive GAS. It's a sick, sick pedal. High priced...you bet, but worth every penny IMO.

Donny, I rarely, and I mean rarely use one too especially live. There are certain songs I will click it on to fill things out a bit plus when I get back into the studio it's going to be a great tool to have.

I mainly use it playing by myself when I need inspiration. I feel like "insta-Rex" every time I click that button.

The black looks great as is, but black and gold is classic Spector. The Red needs gold IMO.

I have a brand new set of Gold Schallers I could sell you if you want.

solder and cover connections with heat shrink or electrical tape and you are all set.

I always told myself that as well but after hearing the isolated tracks from Jammit, I cannot believe how many players use overdrive to get some dirt into their tone.

I am about to place an order for a B3K myself just because watching all of the videos that people posted on Youtube, you can nail some serious tones with it. I remember Lee posted some clips a few months ago also and I was just floored.

Depends on the model.

Some models it will fit directly. Some you may need to widen the pot holes. Which model do you have?

Totally agree. I've had EBS ValveDrive before but sold it. B3K is the best and no more overdrive GAS)

Cool thanks. So is the soldering necessary or can you just twist the wires together and shrink it?

Ideally soldering and shrink rap is the pro install but you can twist and wrap with electrical tape if need be.
