Well guys, it looks like I'll be leaving the Spector family for awhile as I've gotten the Modulus bug once again. That said, I'm sure I'll be back. I really enjoy the look, feel, and tone of these basses, but right now GAS has me in a full nelson :D

Here's a link to my FS thread. I'd be willing to cut any of you guys a better deal on the price as I'd like to keep it 'in the family' :)

I'm in...
And sadly, all of these except one are now gone (other than the three I own in this photo... The Black Pearl, NS-4 Water Cured Redwood and my BOB-4).
Hey! I'm holding Sam's NS-2! :D

Still lovin that second one on the left with the Stingray pickup and black block maple neck. Any of those hitting the market (i.e. Bass Central etc.) any time soon?

Last I heard they were slated to be available in the States in January. They could arrive late December or later in January... I don't really know.

The one in the photo is the first production "sample". Not really a prototype. The prototypes were at the NAMM Show this past January, although they were not on display.

Anyway... this went back to Spector. It's currently not for sale since it's the only one they have at the moment.

It's really a sweet bass. Between Sam, Jaymi and myself we got the action on it super low. And it's got plenty of tone. Very comfortable neck.

And the initial photos of it that were shown were not a true representation of the color. You shine a flash of any matte bass body and it's going to lighten the color. The blue you see in the photo above is the true color of the bass.

It was a real hit at Bass Player Live! Everyone who played it loved it.

Hey thanks for the info JP. I'll be moving out your way (Ventura area:cool:) sometime after the first of the year so the timing of the release is perfect. I'll just wait until I get there to start looking, one less bass to move is a good thing right now.:)
