I have been wanting to say for a while now that some of you guys have some really cool band names. Defy Tolerance, Winter of Freedom, and 1/2 step down (may favorite tuning BTW) come to mind. It's also been really awesome hearing some of you guys play.......

This was the photo I sent Stuart regarding the color I wanted for the Blue Dream... which was reportedly shipped to me today. :D

Don't have the tracking yet, but it should be here by Friday.

Thanks Rich! But I've loved your NS-4 since playing it at Bass Central last year.

Thanks Patrick! There is something deeply hypnotic about the black & blue finish over AAAAA tube-quilted maple - it reminds me of pristine sunlit water in a tropical lagoon, and should be even more eye-popping with a black-bursted edge on the finish.
Looking forward to pics of the "Blue Dream" when you get her, as I'm sure it will be as stunning as the Black Pearl & my personal fave, your bad-@$$ redwood NS-4.

I agree - "Defy Tolerance" is a very cool band name....:bassist:

When we were naming my band, none of us could agree on a name, and upon hearing of our dilemma, our drummer's four year old daughter (who had recently seen the movie "Dispicable Me") suggested we call ourselves "Piranha Gun" after a weapon she had seen in the movie, and the name just sort of stuck...:D

It's amazing a 4 year old can name a band better than most adults.........:ninja::ninja::ninja:

thanks guys :) and ya kids are very creative.

I'm loving this bass so much right now that I'm gonna post one more picture of it! We played some nice gigs this weekend and the bass got much love. Also worth mentioning is the Spector 9V preamp. In a live setting, it is a Badmofo! I'm still a Tonepump fan, but the USA 9V is some serious Mojo :bassist: On a separate note. I just saw a picture of the limited edition white Euro with solid maple wings. I though those were supposed to have Badass bridges. The picture shows the Spector bridge in chrome. What happened? I don't thinks it's a bad thing and maybe I'm not remembering it right, but I could have sworn that the first press release on it said Badass bridge. Oh well no matter. I always thought white NS-2s looked like a Star Wars Stormtrooper. Same kind of bright white :hiding:
