Another thing is I got some more cobalts and also some d.m. helix strings. I'm going to try those out first and see how they sound. Anyone else try the helix's out?

I've been curious about those Helix's. I know Cobalts are awesome.

My last band could practice weekly for free on Saturdays at the Jazz club in town that is owned by our friend. The only problem is we had to be done by the time he opened for lunch. Practice from 9AM to 11 was a complete change up. I also run in to the same thing when I play in church. It definately takes some getting used to. You actually wake up about 1/2 wat through the set. Playing music with a coffee cup in hand instead of a beer........Who'd of thunk it....:eyebrow:

T minus 1.5 hours until I hop on a ferry to go get my second Spector!
I decided to trade my Fender Am Std P-5 for that red quilt top NS-2000/5 I've been eyeing up + $400 cash. Seeing as I bought the P-5 for $900, and the guy's including a case and taking the brunt of the travel costs to do the trade, I think I'm coming out on top. :)

Pics will be posted when I get home, for sure!

Awesome, nothing like jamming fun band and playing gigs. Hope it goes well man!
