Chris may have been joking about knowing his wife has great taste because she married him, he sincerely is a great guy and a good friend. So I actually think the fact she brought him his NS-2 and married him is all the proof I need.

Besides I know Andrea and she does have great taste.

Hi, I've got a Spector Q4Pro, had it for about 7years and the pots are starting to feel very rough. I love the sound after adding an additional 9v battery. But think its going to need new pots.

It has EMG HZ Pickups and EMG BTS preamp and pots. Vol-Vol-Bass-Treble configuration.

Can someone help with choosing new electronics, someone recommended the Aguilar opb-3 but said i would be better speaking to the experts.

Im unsure which wiring config to go for.

Here's one I just picked up. It's a 1985 Brooklyn 2J bolt on that looks and, even better, SOUNDS phenomenal! It's a nice departure from the PJ setup. Just a growly, open and airy tone. Like a Jazz bass on steroids. The USA 9V and two J pups go together nicely.

I've actually had a physical copy of Defy Tolerance's CD. My son compares it to. A slightly lighter Five Finger Death Punch. My wife likes it too. It's very radio friendly in my opinion. I like "epic failure" for some reason........

Nice one Lee, I had wondered how a 2J from that or the Kramer era would sound. Might move one of my NS2's one day to fund one, if I can find one. Please post some clips, I would like to hear how it sounds direct thru Monique. It is always nice to have many tonal options when recording.
