Hey...
I'm having trouble recognizing the dude on this page.
It says his name is Omer. But I don't know...
I thought Omer had been kidnapped on Easter Island.

That's an amazing quilt but way-overpriced for a Euro. $3500 puts you squarely into US-made territory. :eyebrow:

Still, some nice drool-worthy Spector porn... :bassist:

When Euros make it to Norway, because of import taxes and all that lovely stuff they end up costing $6,265.59. This is about 35,000kr. I have to pay twice the price on things I like just because of my geograhpical location, nobody had better complain about prices now. :D

What can I say? Between working two full time jobs in the field of mental health/special education and trying to keep up with my five year old gorl and thirteen year old boy, be a good husband and dad.......I find less and less time to dedicate to mastery of the bass.......lol..........hence I consider myself a passable bassist that actually made it to a couple real studios and am on a couple albums that actually have some distribution......lol. I guess I just got lucky........that and being nice, responsible and reliable with a good attitude can really make my passable skills seems bigger and badder........hahaha

At this point I need to move all my stage gear and their roadcases, as it looks like my time might be spent giving my son guitar lessons.............GASP

Jamie the Man!!!....and the Glockenklang Rules by the way!!...Everything the Thunderfunk has and the stuff the Thunderfunk is lacking!!!...WINNER!!!...also new bass day!!

I need to research those new glocks! I am going to try my Mesa m6 this week at the gig with the DC equipped euro which also has the us18v pre......I'm bringing the tfunk because I'm concerned that with the mega pillowy lows the Mesa brings, coupled with the DC and 18 v.....I might have too much low??? Is this possible? Lol. I will be using my Aguilar db112 and db112 NT.....for reference

Yikes!
So you could SAVE money by flying to the US and going home with a Spector as your carry-on, no?
Or would they still nail you with the import fees upon arrival home??

They could nail me with it on the way back, but they have to prove it and so do I. It's a risky situation. The best thing to do is go with an old bass, sell it over there and come back with the new one. Then you've got the records of leaving with a bass :D

But you're right. I could indeed save some cash. If I had a place to sleep that wasn't a hotel and I bought used :D

I've got a couch in Seattle to trade for a lunch & some lessons while you're here. :D BassNorthwest (where I bought my Spector) is 2miles away,
+ there's 3 Guitar Centers within 20. Not to mention pawn shops a few other Mom & Pop guitar places with some great stuff.
Surely my Wife will understand if it's Spector/Bass related  Summertime is spectacular here
