Yes, "My Spector Story" was on delivery day of my former Forte 4 #036. Which ebradfordrich, a member here, owns it now. Then a month later my Forte 5 arrived. Then the Forte 4 had to leave. It wasn't getting played. I found out that I really don't care for matte black. So then the Forte 5 #031 was sold to club member Reprise. And he just sold it.
Lees is a really great guy. He will help and take care of you very well.
Everyone in our Spector family are awesome people! Never seen a tighter group of people.

I believe Omer (Seventhframe) has his Forte 4 setup for BEAD and judging from the videos he posts, it sounds great
If all of your basses are 34" scale, it might take you a bit to get used to the larger 35" scale depending on the size of your hands. I have these giant Nosferatu hands so going between both scales never really was an issue for me but I know others that have smaller hands just can't do it.

I bought it off GC and it looked like it'd never been played. I didn't put a drop tuner on it. I didn't change anything. Then I sold it to Jeff. Here's the backside of the headstock.
Ok, guys. I'm not getting any local hits on my NS-2000/5. I'm biting the bullet, becoming a supporting member & posting an add for it on TB. I'm into it for about $600 (the market in BC overprices EVERYTHING), but I want a quick sale. What would you list it at?

NOTE: The jack looks like it's sunk into the body, but it's not. That just poor lighting with a black O-ring around the jack.

My band is in "C" standard, so only a half step up. I got two 435's bc I like the better string tension of the 35" scale. It also allows for a little lighter gauge without getting floppy. Going back and forth between 35" and 34" basses doesn't bother me.
Oh sorry we got our signals crossed - that's not the same bass. I got mine off a different user here. The Kramer I got from Jeff.
I visited the Spector website for the first time since the revamp, and I've just got to give Patrick props for a FANTASTIC layout! ...SOOOO many awesome basses to drool over too!

I had two 35" - one of them (PJ) strung BEAD, the other (double humbuckers) strung EADG. Both sounded and felt awesome. If I had bigger hands I'd keep them because I prefer 35" feel and tone, but 34" is just more comfortable for me to play that's why now I just have three NS-2s

You and me both! From what Todd told me the other day, the fretless is at the finishers, who has spent the last few weeks moving locations, but they are expecting it back at the NY shop at the end of the week for assembly!
...I'm crossing my fingers that it'll arrive before the last week in March...which is my week of spring break!
My Euro 4 is set up in that tuning and the tension with a 130 b string at 34" scale is great. Zero floppiness. I'm sure it would play nice with lighter gauges as well. It's up for trade in the classifieds right now since I'm wanting another 5er.

Yeah it would be amazing to get to spend a week solid with it under my fingers! I'm anxious to see what yours looks like and get your thoughts on it!
...also, you did a great job refinishing that legend!! That grain looks fantastic with that stain!
