I've always loved tobacco burst Spectors too.

I remember seeing that burst NS-4 on the left on the thelowend.net website several years ago. That was one of the first burst Spector I can remember seeing, and since then I have drooled over the few that I've seen. ...maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to own one!

Yikes...Part 59. I am clearly neglecting the forum. I've been practicing a lot. Trying to focus on some basic theory. My concentration being almost non existent, it's a difficult task

Nevertheless, here are a few pictures from my last show with The Mighty One.
The Forte 4 bulldozed through the mix perfectly!! The sound guy said he's never heard a bass sound that good. I pointed at the headstock and simply said "It's a Spector".

Looks like a great show!!! Killer pics too!!!

We got a gig with artifex pereo this weekend. I can't wait for it!

It's funny you mention the GS412 as I have one of those but I've been using a combination of TCE's RS212 and RS210. That's why I'm looking for a small amp. Been using their RH450. I want something that's will give me that growl. I don't need sparkle, but I want aggressive.

I promise the TH500 can do aggressive !

Congrats!

You're going to LOVE this bass.
It's almost identical to The Black Pearl in the neck dimensions and feel.
I found it to be a very enjoyable play. And it's drop-dead beautiful. It grabs your eye when you walk into the room with it.

I saw an interesting Euro bass today. It had the flame maple top with a thin strip of darker wood sandwiched between the flame top and alder (?) back. It was neck through and made in the Czech Republic. I believe the serial number sticker stared with an NB prefix. Can anyone identify the model? Thanks!

Dave's salmon pink Kramer is now tobacco burst. I was devastated; I loved the pink and black!

I saw his salmon right before he did that.

He showed me pics of the grain before he painted it a salmon pink and the grain look great! The salmon didn't do it justice so Dave said he wanted to go with the tobacco burst

It's a Euro-LX model.
If 4 string - Euro4LX-TW (with TW humbuckers) or Classic (with P/J pups)
If 5-string - Euro5LX
If 6-string - Euro6LX

This is the current configuration for the Euro Neck-Thru models and has been since 2004.

The dark stripe of wood is Walnut.
