I've been listening to the Steven Wilson album, 'The Raven That Refused to Sing'
Great album!
That's a hard act to follow for sure!

Notreble posted this tonight. Here is the NS-2 that I believe "connected2AJ" owns with the bass tremolo on it and man, this thing sounds good.

Green Euro 5 on CL in my neck of the woods. No affiliation with the seller, & a tad overpriced, but it appears to be in very good shape. If only it was a 4-string....

Why so long. Jeez I hope mine is only the 8 months I was quoted.![]()

Done. BTW I had to switch to IE from Chrome to hear the music.![]()
I've been playing with neutral backgrounds when shooting darker basses. I think it helps them pop out a little more and show the shape better.

It took me 2 years to find one I wanted when I had the money.
so i'm waiting on my first spector to show up tomorow
and i'm allready thinking about changing the preamp becouse every bass i have owned had a mid range controle and it's the one i use the most( ushualy a cut for slap and a slight boost for fingerstyle metal) and i see that GC has the agulair obp3 for $144 wich i can ionstall myself no problem
so i'm looking for some opinions knowing that i do use the mid controle is the obp3 worth the extra cash or is the tone pump allready better suited for the euro bases.
i am allready biased tward the 3 band but i want to here from some peapole who use the tone pump.
Yeah Chrome has been having issues...my wife had issues also with Chrome. I looked at Chrome but didn't care for it.

Thanks TK! I think she's a pretty alright bass!![]()
Good to see you back here, alive and kickin'! Hope the move went smooth and that you are enjoying your new place!![]()
My move was good...Bigger place, cheaper rent = more $$ for gear Welcome back Curtis!!
Whatever you're doing keep doing it because nobody captures these beauties like you do Patrick!![]()
I love the maple neck on this bass next to that fantastic wood pattern.
Thanks! As I was telling another member here in a PM... it's practice. I've shot over 200 USA Spectors now. Other than Stuart I may have a record.
Although Todd could easily have it between his collection and the basses that rotate through his store.
I figure one more BPL and one more NAMM Show and I'll be at 300+
Then I'll be number 2 behind Stuart. And I'll never catch him.![]()
Todd offered to have my USA shipped to him for inspection before sending it on to me. I'm thinking of doing it if he'll take some Spector porn shots for me. Even if it adds a couple of days to the wait. That way I'll have some good pics to post right away.![]()

I prefer the OBP 3 as wellI'm one of those (few) that didn't like the tone pump and installed the OBP-3. Been quite happy.
I really believe its one of the most versatile preamps.
I have always kept IE ready as Chrome, Firefox, etc., all have an issue at one time or another. I like how my profile in Chrome follows me from computer to computer. It also plays well with Google Drive and I've got 100 gigs there with my Docs and desktop synced to it for backup.
