I thought for sure that the DC-2 would do just fine but I went and broke out the Joyo Power Supply 2 I bought to put on my pedalboard and sure enough, plugged the B3K in one of it's standard 9v outputs and hey... no hum! :o So yeah, power supply issue. Wish they were more forthcoming with the power requirements. Oh well, problem solved. Thanks for all your help. :D

I recieved the Forte 4 safely yesterday and I mean safely . It was packed by a pro the best I've seen so far.. the sad part is I've been so busy with teaching haz mat classes and working shift at the department I haven't had a chance to get personal with her but I get off duty tomorrow @ 8am and I'm gonna make time for her before I leave for this weekends gigs. Forte's have intrigued me for a while now. It's like a "Stealth Spector". I think I'd really like a Forte5 with Haz and ebony fingerboard to top off the whole blacked out look. :smug:

But then the little voice in my head says (here's another one for John) "You just keep thinking Butch, that's what you're good at." (sigh) So many Spectors, so little money. :ninja:

I believe you'd love the Forte 5 A LOT, but, bad news is the ebony board isn't an option :scowl: I asked (pleaded) with Pj a year ago. :ninja: It'd look boss though! :cool:

I wish I could get your old Forte that is (was?) just for sale, but I just gave all my spare $ to Jim for his NS-4CR-FM. LOL Thanks Jim! No regrets. Since it's a shorter and more narrow neck than my Euro5 I call the CRFM my 'Lil Spector. :D

:) I think we all need to do one and post them here. It would actually be interesting and fun to hear everyone's different tone and style on this modern classic. After everyone in the club has done one, the Spector Godfather himself will choose the winner.

Had a similar issue with my b3k but mine was a secondhand model one of the finnish ones. I was to the point of trashing it when i decided to pull it apart. When i did i discovered the solder points of the board were touching the case causin a ground issue, i fixed this by lining the back cover of the case w electrical tape , ive never had another problem since.
