Hey all.
How do I go about becoming a Spector Club member?? 095.jpg

Thats a long time, where did you get it?

Every forte I've played has been stunning.:bassist:

Private seller. Really, it's partially my fault for not inquiring about the method of shipping first. I just kind of figured that most people use Fedex Ground or UPS. I would even have been okay with it taking awhile to get here if I only knew where it was along the way. USPS calls is "tracking", which isn't exactly true, at least in the way Fedex or UPS does it. It basically goes into the black hole of the USPS system and they will send you an update (presumably) when it turns up at the local post office.

Lessons learned: always, always, always confirm the shipping method before buying or trading. And make sure that it's a real tracking number that a call to the service desk can more/less pinpoint where the package is en route. this will save a lot of angst.

Well, you'll love it when you get it. I have some serious SAS for a Forte!

Glad to see someone else is a fan! He's a really cool guy in person too. I feel like my playing improved 10x by shaking his hand. Too bad he had that whole issue and isn't in Coheed anymore. I miss those basslines. :(

It's cool you got to meet him- I probably would have just gone super fan-girl and gushed the entire time, haha. And yeah, I've only heard a couple tracks off their latest release, and the bass grooves and all, but the lines are missing Mic's awesome melodic sense. He's definitely been one of my biggest influences in terms of bass line construction.
