This is true. I use a small local mail company to do all my shipping and thats what he told. I usually have him do my packing unless Im shipping a guitar or bass in a hard case.

The stain giving a consistent color over the whole body was the driving factor for my choice of this for my NS-5XL. And yes... this will be getting an ebony fingerboard too. :D

FYI...

The hardware discussion is over for me (continue if you wish). I just put the down payment on an Ultraviolet NS-2-EX with ebony finger board, shaved neck, high gloss finish, and yes, black hardware. :bassist: :hyper: :bassist: :hyper: :bassist:

That's going to kill with the UV. What kind of wood? Curious about the EX.

I got lucky with my wait time. I ordered the UV 5XL and the cherry 6XL right around New Years. So the 6XL only took a little more than 5 months, and the UV isn't far behind.

It's not the premium walnut burl, water cured redwood, etc, like you'd expect to be EX but I did get the premium highly figured maple and I still think that's considered an EX option.

But of course. ;) I'm kind of curious to see what turns up. There was only one picture that was way too dark in typical GC fashion. I have this paranoid fear that it's an ns2a with stickers, which will really piss me off. It was hard to tell with bridge so dark. Fingers crossed that it is what I think it is!
