I doubt Phil Spector has , but Stuart has made a 5 String Bolt on with P/J pickups.

Awesome thanks so much for the response! Man this thread moves absurdly fast. Yeah I'm not much for the bolt-on vs neck thru debate. I think they are both killer and obviously Spector makes a killer quality product either way. So is the OBP-3 an option on the Forte 5? I think the website says OBP-2 or Spector 9V only for the pre options.

My Forte 5 had the OBP 3 installed at Spector shop.
Remember this...when considering a new build, ask for what you'd like, Pj & Stuart will listen & consider, then give you an answer. Not everything on the Spector bass website is set in stone.

I was told by an ups employee at one of the stores that they can basically deny any insurance claim based on "inadequate packaging" if ups doesnt pack it themselves. Beware folks. Hope all that works out for you...

I had a FedEx claim once on a bass rig...they just had me take pictures of outside/inside of box plus packing materials, pics of all sides of bass rig...emailed digital pics to FedEx claim office. 1 week later I received a check from FedEx. AND I got to keep the bass rig. Ampeg B112.

Anybody scoop up that Coda 5DLX from BassNW? I was eying it for the past two days and decided to call about it today but it sold.

It was going for $1999 and had the OBP-2, looked in MINT shape. Hopefully a club member got it!

That was actually me that got it! It's in route via Fedex now. I'll be a member soon enough, I promise!
