Here's one for the B7K gassers.

http://youtu.be/HCp8vE1ZT0g

Nolly has a sick tone. I read somewhere that in this video he used his axe II to match eq his b7k so what you are hearing is his axe fx eq'd exactly like his b7k would sound. A super cool feature of the axe II! I gotta work some more on my b7k tones

The B3K sounds nice, but you get SO MUCH MORE when spending the extra $$$ on the B7K, I want a pedal I can use to EQ, DI, and have great distortion in one, ESPECIALLY for recording so I can get both the DI dirt and the grit from the speaker that's mic'ed. Some day I will be able to blow $380 on one of those babies, and ditch a couple pedals from my board to be replaced by it.

I hope not because this came from the Darkglass website as an example of the B7K.

BTW... What does he tune down to?

recently sold my favorite warwick streamer =( I already miss it but got a kid on the way and had to downsize a bit for now...

Picked up a euro4 for an awesome price!! couldn't really resist. Only thing that is really throwing me off for now is the 35" scale and the FAT neck...

Getting used to it after an hour or two with it though...

Thinking about getting the neck shaved down a bit. Any thoughts??

Nice score! Iirc, our own Mr. Bassie had the neck on his USA forte shaved down and he absolutely loves that bass (as do many of us who have seen pics- it's beautiful!). If you really love the sound and everything else I'd go for it personally, but IMO, YMMV, etc.

I have a matte euro also, not 35 scale but it has a fat next also. If I didn't have all these skinny neck Kramer eras I would have the neck shaved also. Seems that all the newer Spectors that I have played have the fat necks. The older Streamer you parted with was super sweet and I can see how the neck differences could be hard to adjust to. In conclusion, I would have the neck shaved.

Very nice bass. IMHO I suggest to wait. Don't alter it unless you have to. If you really can't live with the neck then by all means, shave it. Something new can take some adjustment. Just wait and make sure is all.

Well after the misadventures at the hands of UPS over the past couple weeks, my new Rex 5 Professional arrived today factory fresh and full of that "new bass smell".
A few cellphone pics as promised....now off to play some bass :bassist:
This should keep me until the Coda Pro basses hit these shores.....

Could try to flip it for a Wimbish model. Very nice skinny neck on those.

Hey Jonkim, I had your Streamer for awhile, it was sweet. Then I experienced a Spector! There's no looking back for me, I am going all Spector. I would hold off for awhile to see if it becomes a better fit for you. Just give it a little time, I would try not to mess with perfection!!!
