Mike Cooper is making awesome leather instrument straps now! I am going to get him to make me one with a Spector emblem and say L.ove O.ver E.verything. what do you all think? Patrick chime in.....I figured it would be really cool to put it on the Special white bass!!!! A special strap for aspecial bass
Hi all. Just received my first Spector. It's a slightly used lefty Euro 4 lx in the Trans black with the high gloss. So far I am super impressed but won't be able to plug her in until the weekend as I picked it up while on a business trip. I have her with me but o access to an amp. The fit and finish are outstanding but have no idea what to expect tone wise. I own Ernie Ball basses and Warwicks so the closest thing I have to is bass is my Thumb 4 NT. I don't expect them to sound at all the same but these will be my only neck thru basses.
I will put some photos up when I get home. What a machine though. Any thoughts on the Tonepump and EMG setup?
Just an FYI...
I see BSO carries the Invalid Link Removed.
I've been using one of these for a few weeks now and it's great! Light weight, convenient, and when strapped onto your back it leaves your two hands free to carry other stuff.
Lots of protection. OK it's not a flight case but that's the point. It stays with you. Even on a plane (if they'll let you), or if you but a seat for it it'll take up less room.
Highly recommended!

Yes.....Coop is kicking serious butt with his leather tooling abilities.......I said tool.....huh huh huh (Beavis voice)that gets a HUGE +1!!!! I'm following his work on FB too...outstanding stuff!![]()
OMG, white Rex with P/Js ! I can do with out the brass knuckle bridge. Actually I wouldnt buy because of it.
Excellent forward thinking. That would have been a deal killer also. The brass knuckle bridge isn't a bridge. It's a plate that fits on over the Legend/Rex Bridge and it's removable.
It was designed to be removable because PJ realized not everyone would dig it. Three little screws and it comes right out.![]()
Rebop redo is now under way. Should have euro in 2 or 3 days .
Emg goes in tomm for pre and intruiged to hear it play. Likin my bop much more now
That and the fact the P is in the original Fender orientation rather than the Spector CORRECT ("reversed") position. That's a deal killer for me.
Oooof, you're playing that B1500 through a B15T? Man, be super careful with that sub bass knob and master volume. That Carvin will splinter that box faster than you can say Warwick.

Excellent choice! If you are out here rarely, you shouldn't miss the Black Hills, especially if you have any interest in 1800's history. Have fun!!![]()
Oh yes...love 1800's history.Thanks!
