Good timing on the Mono talk! We're going on the road next weekend, and I like keeping my basses with me at all times (remember I'm the Fox Mulder of gigging). I like the idea of having both basses with me in one case.
EDIT: I see the Vertigo is a single only. Does anyone here have the double they make that isn't a Vertigo?
Hey Bunk,
I take my basses out of the Mono M80 Double vertically ALL the time. You don't need to lay the bag down to get them out. Just unzip about half way and pull it out of the top. Easy.
Last gig we only did a set so I just took one bass. I used the other compartment, usually taken up by a bass, to carry all my cords, tuners, etc. I had my Aggie Tone Hammer in the huge side pocket. Grabbed my cab and walked in the joint...just one trip! Love hat bag.
Hi all. Just received my first Spector. It's a slightly used lefty Euro 4 lx in the Trans black with the high gloss. So far I am super impressed but won't be able to plug her in until the weekend as I picked it up while on a business trip. I have her with me but o access to an amp. The fit and finish are outstanding but have no idea what to expect tone wise. I own Ernie Ball basses and Warwicks so the closest thing I have to is bass is my Thumb 4 NT. I don't expect them to sound at all the same but these will be my only neck thru basses.
I will put some photos up when I get home. What a machine though. Any thoughts on the Tonepump and EMG setup?

just ordered new tuners and a set of DR hi-beams for the fretless. I'm hoping the Hipshot ultralights will alleviate some of the neck dive that is happening. Also trying a different set of strings just to see what happens with the tone!
...now it's time for me to look into getting a new interface and DAW so I can actually do some recordings!![]()
I swore I was looking at a Forte. Once again, great flame on that.
have you guys seen Chris Kaelis getting a signature model? Looks like it is a PJ equipped Rex with a brass knuckle bridge. Check it out.

OMG, white Rex with P/Js ! I can do with out the brass knuckle bridge. Actually I wouldnt buy because of it.
Not sure if this has been discussed, but has anyone else tried the NS-2BO?
Do the pickups seem a little close together? If you've tried it, what are your impressions?
I'm really missing my NS-2A, and I've been looking at the SE5 Euro with the chrome hardware. So, I might be moving a couple axes in the near future...
