SPECTOR® Club - Part 66

There's not a thing wrong with the Fortes. I suspect that they get shifted around more just because they're a much lower cost entree into the USA Spector universe, especially on the used market.

I was going to say the same thing. Some will recall we *almost* had a Spector Club special Forte through Todd, and that would have been my first exposure to the US models at the time. If the opportunity hadn't come up to get the blue NS-5XL I have at basically the same price some Forte's go for, I know I would have wound up buying one of the Forte 5's that have been available over the past year and a half.

I actually still haven't ruled out getting one - I really love the look.

Guys I need to apologize to all of you, and specifically MDBass for basically acting like an ******* yesterday. This is not an excuse, but I was having a very bad day, and regrettably I channeled some of that in here. I should have found a better way of stating my thoughts.

Again, my apologies.

once again a Spector member upholds our credo of tolerance. if we can just get that one guy, Donnie on board....

I can attest thereto. #36 has massive tone and had I not been so enamored with swampy, this Forte would already be sitting back in my living room. :bassist: Jody is a good dude too. The new owner will be a happy guy (or gal).

Thank you sir . Oh hey you just got to keep flashing swampy don't you . I've been waiting patiently for your paypal address ..lol

Get a Kramer era NS-2. It's so much more comfortable and is much thinner than nowdays NS-2s. I've got two of them after playing Euros and felt no difference with Euros which is main factor for me because Euro necks are IMHO the most comfy necks I've played.

Another great option . Well I will be on the lookout for one :screwy: thank you ! And I agree I love the euro necks I really would lome to try the wimbush 1.5 but on swampy figured one ...

Hey guys, this has been a wild week. Got slapped with the unexpected bill and sold my NS-4H2 almost instantaneously. Then SAS set in because I had cash and a lot more time to pay the bill than I thought I would have and all kinds of great Spectors came up for sale. Sassy is an evil temptress and I am weak.... very, very weak! :rollno:

So, I think you might know what's coming next. Yes, I have a new addition coming my way to replace the NS-4H2, which will arrive next week. :D

In the meantime, I now have to sell some more basses. :help: I'll be putting up the stunning natural quilt Euro LX (see my avatar) sometime this weekend. The bass is darn near perfect. I'd love to keep it in the club. Hit me up if interested for the club special.

Thanks guys. Can't wait to play and share the new addition! :bassist:
